2.1 Sign In with Apple
To use FlowSpace, you are required to create an account using Sign In with Apple. This authentication method provides us with:
- Your Name (as associated with your Apple ID).
- Your Email Address (or a private relay email provided by Apple if you chose to hide it).
2.2 Purpose of Account Data
We use this information solely to:
- Create your unique user account.
- Link your Pro subscription status to your identity via RevenueCat.
- Allow you to restore your purchases across multiple devices.
3. Content Storage (iCloud)
FlowSpace is a "Local-First" application backed by Apple CloudKit.
- Your Content: All your reminders, events, notes, and habits are stored locally on your device and synced to your private iCloud container.
- Our Access: We (Unusual Software) do not have access to your notes, tasks, or personal content. This data is encrypted by Apple and is only accessible by you.
4. Third-Party Services
We use trusted third-party services to operate the app.
- RevenueCat: We use RevenueCat to manage subscriptions and purchase validation. We share a unique User ID and your account email with RevenueCat to ensure your subscription status is synced correctly. You can review RevenueCat's privacy policy here: https://www.revenuecat.com/privacy
- Apple iCloud: Used for data storage and synchronization.
5. Analytics and Diagnostics
- Crash Reports: We may collect anonymous crash reports provided by Apple (if you have opted-in to share analytics with developers in your iOS settings) to fix bugs.
- Subscription Analytics: We analyze anonymized subscription events (e.g., "Subscription Started", "Trial Converted") via RevenueCat to improve our business model.
6. Data Retention and Deletion
You have the right to delete your account. You can request the deletion of your account data (Name/Email stored in our system) by contacting us. Note that deleting the app does not cancel your subscription; this must be done via your Apple ID settings.
